Following our successful redesign of Loblaws at the iconic Maple Leaf Gardens in 2011, we were engaged to do the same for Canada’s favourite discount brand, No Frills.
The first iteration of our new retail format opened to the public in 2013 in Stratford Ontario and continues to roll out across the nation.
Our scope of work included Brand Strategy, Identity Evolution, Master Planning, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Wayfinding, Signage, Ticketing, Packaging, Tone of Voice, Uniforms, Visual Merchandising and Design Guidelines.

2013 Winner High Distinction from the Retail Design Institute of America, against the likes of Chanel, Hermès and Aesop Flagship stores. No mean feat for a discount supermarket.

"A richly layered urban retail environment with integrated planning, interior architecture and branding that creates a dynamic city place of broad functional, economic and meaningful value."
