LoSurdo’s new fresh food market at Chatswood Chase is a place where people and food are celebrated again, and every visit brings joy.

Retail design is often over complicated, too visible, too loud.
Embracing the romance of nothingness, our design is inspired by two simple words: “Fammi vedere”.
It's Italian for “show me”.

Intentionally quiet, the design is stripped back to its essential beauty, and the soul of an original market is revived.
Celebrating the LoSurdo's family legacy, the focus is uncompromising quality produce, at the best prices, for the local community.

Every aisle reflects the spirit of a traditional marketplace – vibrant, diverse, and rooted in quality, with on-hand expertise of real people who care about what you eat.

This project marks a 30-year, multi-generational collaboration between two Italian families - an “associazione delle famiglie”.
In 1995, the original LoSurdo's store was one of our studio's founding food projects, and a significant step forward for both.

A journey of trust, support, and a love of food, we are forever grateful to our client's faith, dedication to quality, community and quiet innovation.
