Zehrs supermarket in Toronto is the first instalment of our collaboration with Loblaws on their new "Neighbour" format.
The brief was to create a suburban evolution of an existing local format into an environment that is modern and sophisticated, whilst retaining a friendly and approachable neighbourhood attitude.
Serviced departments are defined by canopies around the store perimeter of the Market Hall, creating an overall sense of calm whilst also adding ease of navigation and a friendly marketplace personality.

Loblaws Neighbour has been an instant success, now in high demand nationally across Canada. Customers and team members love it to bits and dwell times and basket sizes have increased accordingly.
